Samsung ‘Blackberry’ SGH-i320 announced
Tuesday, July 4th, 2006Wowser. just seen pics of this little baby, new from Samsung mobile. An obvious competitor to the blackberry and other handheld email devices, it supports push email as per b/berry, as well as audio playback, bluetooth and various other stuff the guys at RIM should have put in the blackberry last time round. Heck, I want one. Apparently, I’m not going to have to wait long, as the company is claiming a european release will take place this month (JULY). Its thin, its light, it looks good. Could be the one to replace my blackberry with….

The tri-band GSM handset supports EDGE and GPRS and runs Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone operating system. Other features include a 1.3-megapixel camera, video recording in MPEG4/H.263, audio playback for MP3, AAC, AAC+, Windows Media Audio, WAV and Ogg files, Bluetooth, USB and voice recognition. The screen is a 2.2in model with QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) resolution and like many high-end Samsung phones it has a document viewer.
The i320 weighs 95g and measures 111 x 59 x 11.5mm. It has 120MB of internal memory and a microSD card slot for external memory. no details on price yet.
